Microsoft Teams - v4.17

Good Afternoon, 

As some people are already aware, Microsoft have recently launched a new update for Teams Rooms, this sees the firmware version update from 4.16, to 4.17. 

As per our previous article which referenced this, this has seen some new layout changes on to Displays and Touch Panels. For most of you, this does not affect anything other than some newer colours, however for those with custom backgrounds you may see an issue where the new positioning of the calendar and other things alike are now blocking you from seeing things such as a quick user guide. 

If this is the case for you; you do have options. We can remove the calendar from the screen, this allows you to view your custom background as normal, however you may find that following a reboot of the system or any further updates may reapply the calendar - unfortunately we cannot control that. 

Alternatively we can redesign your pre-existing background in order to have nothing affecting the background. 

As both of these options are changes to the default teams build; there are costs incurred for both of these options, however should you wish to pursue either please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
